Editorial Policy

What This Page Covers

This editorial policy explains how plasmax.io creates, reviews, maintains, and corrects the articles and guides published on this website. It applies to every page under the plasmax.io domain. It complements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use; if this page and the Terms of Use ever conflict, the Terms of Use control.

Who We Are

plasmax.io is an independent, reader-supported technical reference published by the team behind the PlasmaX web application. Articles are written and maintained by the site's editorial team as a group. We publish under a single PlasmaX organization identity, and we do not claim credentials, reviews, or testing experience that we do not have.

What We Publish — and What We Refuse

Our content focuses on legal media players, free and lawful streaming sources, device setup, troubleshooting, and privacy/security guidance. We cover software as software: what a player can and cannot do, where to get it officially, and how to configure it.

We do not publish instructions for accessing pirated streams, stolen credentials, or copyright circumvention, and we do not promote unlicensed IPTV sellers. When we mention a player or service, we describe only what can be verified from its official listing, documentation, or website.

How Articles Are Researched and Written

  • Sources. Factual claims are drawn from official sources — vendor listings (such as the Apple App Store and Google Play), developer documentation, standards bodies, and reputable technical references. Facts that could change (versions, prices, ratings) are checked against the live source and dated in the article.
  • Experience claims. We do not fabricate first-person testing. Where an article describes hands-on behavior, it reflects actual use of the software described in it.
  • Independence. Editorial recommendations are our own. No advertiser or affiliate partner chooses our topics, conclusions, or rankings, and paid placements are not ranked in our comparisons.
  • Scope. We are a player reference, not a content source. We do not provide, host, or link to streams, and player guides describe configuration only.
  • Scope of authority. We aim to be a useful technical reference, but our articles are informational and do not constitute professional advice.

Verification and Updates

Facts in our articles are verified at the time of publication against the sources named above. Software changes: listings get updated, prices change, download counts move. When we substantially revise an article, the article carries a visible update note showing when the review occurred and what changed.

Corrections

We correct errors. If you believe a statement on this site is wrong, send the URL and the correction to our contact form with a source if you have one. We review every correction request. Confirmed factual errors are fixed promptly with an update note explaining the change; we do not silently edit substantive claims without acknowledgment. The correction date is visible on the corrected article.

Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure

This site is reader-supported. Some outbound links to Amazon are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, plasmax.io earns from qualifying purchases. Affiliate links are marked rel="sponsored nofollow" in the page source and are placed only where an Amazon product is contextually useful. Recommendations and rankings are not for sale.

The site also displays advertising. Ads are clearly distinguishable from editorial content, and we do not permit advertisers to influence our recommendations.

Partnerships and Affiliations

plasmax.io is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, plasmax.io earns from qualifying purchases. This is currently the site's only commercial partnership; we have no sponsorship, ownership, or revenue-sharing relationship with any streaming service, device manufacturer, or software vendor whose products we cover. The PlasmaX web application featured on this site is our own software, and articles about it are written and edited under the same standards described on this page.

Partnership or affiliation terms never alter our conclusions. If a partnership is ever added or changed, this section will be updated and dated.
